portable controller library, Having trouble using the portable controller library Options

I'm having an issue with a portable controller I'm building. Anytime I try to use the portable controller library (ZW_controller_portable_ZW030xs.lib) the chip does not run my program. It goes into the same mode, pin 4 is a high even when I try to set it low, and pin 5 generates a square wave. Has anyone else had this problem? Maybe I have a bad library? If I run the program using the enhanced slave library, and make all of the necessary changes (adding in all of the required application functions) the program works. I have been messing with this for a month now and still cannot figure it out any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.
