I posted this (or as close as I can remember) last night but it seems to be gone this morning so I'll try again.

I installed a set of the GE 3 way dimmer switches, the primary and auxiliary switch kit, and I have an odd issue that I'm hoping is a simple oversight on my part. If I tap up to turn the lights on, they only come up to about 50% to 75%, from either switch. If I press and hold the primary, it will only go up to 75% as well but if I press and hold the auxiliary switch it goes up to 100% until I let go, then it drops down to 75% again. Another odd thing is when I tap the auxiliary switch to turn off, the lights flash to 100% then fades off as expected. I purchased a bunch of these switches to replace most of the non-z-wave 3 way switches in the house and thought I might have gotten a bad set so I replaced everything with another set but got the same results. I have not programed a remote to them yet but I do have a schlage link that is up and running right now with my lock (and is about to be replaced with a Vera once I figure out these switches).

I was hoping to get started on what promises to be a major upgrade to my tiny z-wave infrastructure this weekend but can't see myself walking around the house with lights that only come half way on....and I'm sure my wife isn't going to.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I have sent GE a note as well but so far no response.

So it looks like no one else has had this issue....sigh

Well I spoke with the ladies at GE's support desk and they didn't have any answers either but upon further investigation I've discovered that when I remove the "traveler" wire the lights come on 100% and the primary switch works as expected. I tried yet a another switch set but for some reason the same thing happened. Hopefully the next level at GE support can help me.

I have yet another issue that hopefully someone has come across. I installed a 1 way switch in my bathroom and when I turn the fan off, it turns the light off as well. It does not turn the light on when I turn it on though. The GE ladies found that unusual since when they get "noise" from a motor in the power lines it tends to turn the lights on and off.
